"Location is good, tram station just ahead. Walking distance to shops n restaurants. Parking instructions should be part of booking email confirmation. We went round and round to look for parking in the hotel, not knowing the hotel is in the shopping arcade. We stopped the car at a corner street and one of us went to the hotel to inquire, then only we realised we have to park at the public car park opposite hotel. The hotel staff gave a map to the three parking area, but the map font is too small and faint, we ended up missing the car park nearest to hotel."

"I'd been interested in this hotel since before it opened last year, and finally got to go. The space and service lived up to my expectations. The location is great, and as you'd expect from Japanet, the room was well-equipped with appliances, so I was able to stay comfortably. I'd definitely like to stay here again when I visit Nagasaki."

"It's quite clean, but there's nothing to eat around. It's a bit far from the train station and scenic spots, but not far from the port. The room window can be opened for ventilation, and it's good not facing the road."

"The hotel is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from JR Nagasaki Station, with some rooms offering distant views of the station. The lobby is bright and spacious, offering complimentary morning coffee and a microwave for guests. The self-check-in kiosks are very user-friendly; you just enter your booking number, and with Chinese language options, the check-in process is seamless and free of any language barriers. A 7-Eleven convenience store is conveniently located right next to the lobby, perfect for grabbing snacks and essentials. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. As a welcoming gesture, the mini-fridge contained two complimentary bottles of water and two mango puddings. A complimentary hot spring ticket was also provided. We managed to book this room during a 618 sale event for under 600 a night, which was absolutely fantastic value for money! Overall, a five-star experience; I highly recommend staying here."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. If you're planning to drive, be aware that the hotel has limited free parking spaces. I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to reserve a spot. If parking is full, the front desk staff are very helpful and can suggest nearby parking options that are just a short walk away. Check-in and check-out are both quick and convenient with the hotel's automated machines. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches—like providing nightgowns for guests. If you need to do laundry, there’s even a coin-operated washing machine available. The room comes with a full set of kitchen appliances, which is super convenient for light cooking or prepping fruits and snacks. While the room isn't very large, it still offers enough space for a baby to move around comfortably. Overall, a clean, efficient, and cozy stay with thoughtful amenities that made a real difference."

"We were pitting this hotel against other chains like Dormy Inn and Candeo Hotels. Richmond’s value proposition is that you pay less but have less amenities. The rooms are bigger that what we were comparing with but you do not get a public bath and you do not get free drinks and noodles. For the price I think that Richmond is good in that aspect. The hotel lobby is nice and pays homage to the Dutch visiting Japan eons ago as Nagasaki was the first place they came into contact with then. It’s a typical chain hotel, but its located along the bar and nightlife street, though the events happening around that street didn’t bother us, I believe that the price is lowered due to the location of the place."

"The room is an apartment with a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom, which can be lived in as usual. It is much more spacious and convenient than ordinary hotels with only a small bedroom. The advantage is obvious. However, there is a certain distance between the front desk and the accommodation, and the signs are not very obvious, so it is a bit difficult to find; the instructions for returning the room card by self-service check-out are not very clear, and some improvements are needed."

"The bathroom was only a shower. There was shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and washing machine. Although I had a toothbrush, I didn't have a nightwear, so I recommend taking it with me. Although the room was clean, I was a little worried that the walls of the washbasin were dirty. I was able to stay in a large number and spend comfortably."

"Great location and room was very clean and spacious. It’s a very new hotel and everything is new and nice. Hotel location is great! It’s right next to the train station and shopping mall. There are many restaurants nearby so getting good food is easy. Will definitely come back to stay again if we visit Nagasaki again."
